Blurred Lines: The American Dream vs the Selfishness of America

Opportunity, prosperity, equality ...just a few (of many) buzzwords that people often associated with the American Dream. Coined in the 1930s, the idea behind the American Dream believed in those three words. However, somewhere, the lines blurred, and what was once considered the dream for all citizens began to shift to only those who could afford (hint, hint) the dream; leaving the rest to fall through systemic cracks in a white supremacy culture.
