This week Lyzeth and Martina dive into the deeply rooted white supremacy history of the American healthcare system. From W.E.B. Dubois’ “The Philadelphia Negro” to statistics release 2018 stating that “...black women die 2 ½ times more often than white women in pregnancy-related deaths”, we’ve had the same conversations, with minual change, for over 119 years. Will sustainable change ever come?
